Being a ping pong ball isnt always easy….

So last week my undies were very much in a bunch because I felt “betrayed” by a co-worker. If you’ve ever seen the movie “The Usual Suspects” (if you havent ill try not to make this a spoiler…) I was speaking to him about a delicate issue last week and he shared some information and I had what I like to refer to as a “Kaiser Soze” moment like the one Chazz Pulmentari experiences at the end of the movie where all these elements in the movie begin to add up and I realized that he was probably behind some mayhem Ive experienced in the past. Although I didnt feel even the remotest need to confront him, I spoke to him again today and realized that my initial read on him was probably right. He really is a nice person and I think I was too reactive. Sometimes nice people make bad judgment calls maybe because they are new or young or because they just trust the wrong person. I have more to post but I wanted to put that out there for the blogosphere to hear. My own personal amends to him. Sort of….Ideally Ill be back after taking Norm to Target to spend money we dont have while playing russian roulette with the checking account….

The problem with nice people, and I mean this is the nicest way possible, is they tend to be inadvertantly decpetive and manipulative because they try so hard to be nice. The only way to be nice is to lie, pretty much constantly. But I am a born cynic, so you can ignore me if you want.

If you can figure out how to read a particular nice person, I think they can become a bit more transparent and can become completely fine people. But generally, I don’t trust nice people. Again, not because I think they are malicious, they just have to lie to stay constantly nice.

    I could be totally wrong.

**It might be important to add, that I don’t really trust anyone (except a couple family members, and maybe 1 or 2 friends) … hmm… Now I am off on a though tangent about who I trust and don’t trust and why. Weird.

I never ignore you. Not to alarm you but you are actually a lot more like me than you might realize. maybe its that leo thing.

I actually agree completely. In fact, during today’s conversation, I caught him in at least two lies. Which doesnt really bother me. Im not telling him anything that matters ever again but Ive stopped feeling sick to my stomach when I think about him now and Im going to operate from that.

Please feel free to put those thought tangents here anytime! I dont think Im the only one who enjoys it when you do (but even if i am, dammit its my blog and i like it!) Plus it spurred a thought tangent of my own about that subject. Very interesting….

PS: I love it when i have to double word verify on my own damn blog…

Hey, I almost forgot! TAG! You’re it!

I’m tagging you for the Halloween Meme.

If there’s a different, more sophisticated way to perform a tag, I don’t know it!

So what’d ya get at Target?

(Sorry…I’m all about the retail therapy right now.)

    Target purchases:
    One box of cheerios
One box of lucky charms (new berry flavor)
One box of backyardigans fruit snacks.
    Butt Wipes
    Hair accessories
    A Spider Shirt for Norm
Three packs of pokemon cards (For norm)
A Halloween light up necklace (for norm).
From the snack bar, a popcorn combo with a mountain dew black slushy for norm and a diet coke/jones green apple soda mix for me.
In review, this was totally a mom guilt trip. Retail therapy has failed me once again. When the Turnip learns about “buying stuff” Im so screwed.
